I know I've seen it demo'd someplace, but for the life of me I can't recall how to insert an image with a 'watermark' effect -- a pale rendition that can act as wallpaper behind the fields on a layout.  Searching for 'Watermark' in the Filemaker Help resource yields nothing . . . .

 

I can't even recall whether you have to use an Image Field (preferable), or whether you do this via "Insert > Picture" as an object on the layout . . .

 

I see that I can use a 'Graphic' for the Fill for a Part --- but that's not quite giving me the placement flexibility or the pale-quality I'm looking for.

 

Any help?

 

I'd use core image for this, or Automator it has a function for watermarking PDFs.
