How to create a script that automatically emails a layout?

Can someone please help me?  I'm a newbie and could use some script examples rather than conceptual ideas...

 

If I already have a layout called report, how would I create a script to run that report and send that report to a particular email address automatically everyday?

If the person you're sending to does not have FileMaker installed you should save the report (record) as PDF and mail that.

Running a report and sending it by e-mail is rather trivial - but "every day" requires a conceptual idea. Perhaps it would be satisfactory to make this part of your opening or closing script?
