Wonder if anyone can help or has seen this problem before.

 

We have a filemaker database on the Filemaker Server.

Our users have their own local copy of the database on their ipads.

We do a uni directional sync (push the data from the ipad to the server) we are only ever adding records.

After the sync we then delete the data from the ipad.

 

Here's the problem:

Sometimes it works fine (new records added) but sometimes it does not see that there is new records to add (nothing synced) and sometime it says it has modifed a record.

 

The version of mirror sync we are using is 1.5.

 

Does anyone have any idea's what we could be doing wrong?

I would recommend upgrading to the newer version of MirrorSync,  it may have been fixed

Stephen's right - we no longer offer support for MirrorSync 1.x. It's a flat fee of $245 to upgrade to MirrorSync, go to http://mirrorsync.com and click on 'Pricing / buy'.

 

The one-way sync does work in 1.5, we had users doing it that way, but it's been greatly improved (faster and more reliable) in version 2.
