No matter how I import an excel file, I get the f1, f2, etc. headings. I click on open, click on excel file, it asks if first line is headers or data and I choose headers, and it doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

Does your first Row have Names for each columns, or is it data?

Names. Maybe I should mention, they're converted tables from Access. Do you want me to attach a small one with very little data? If yes, how?

BTW, what options are their for export out of Access?

I just figured it out. Once I created the excel file I went into the excel file, selected all (by clicking on ther upper left corner box), saved the file. Then I went into FM, Open, chose the file and it worked with headers as well. No idea what made me think of that. Or why it worked. Thanks for the help. Mike
