October 22, 201411 yr I have a few Oracle tables in my file, connected by ODBC DSN. I have noticed that one table in particular is showing an incorrect record count. When you first open the file or change to the layout in question, sometimes the count shows the correct 11,800 records. However, when I do a find that I know should return 4600 records, I get only 230, and the total record count goes down to 8200. Very weird. Anyone seen this type of behavior before?
October 26, 201411 yr Which side is ODBC? I assume you are calling from FileMaker using ODBC to retrieve data from Oracle? Would that be your scenario?
October 27, 201411 yr Author Correct. I have a system DSN set up to connect to the Oracle DB, and I'm using that in FileMaker as the external data source. The weird thing is that it seems to be limited to this particular table. All the others work just fine . . . so far as I can tell.
