Adding mulitple photos - portal design make sense?

I am taking my first look into containers.  I would like to add the ability to tie multiple photos (taken on iPads) to our inspection records.  The most logical approach to me seems to be to create a child record with a single container each time I wish to add a photo. 

 

I've looked for discussions along these lines, but not found anything that directly relates.  Am I on the right track here?  

 

ANY suggestions would be welcomed!

Yes, of course. Many (anything, including photos) to one (inspection) requires a child table, where each of the many is a separate record.
