Hello everybody,

I'm a novice of ScriptMaster: I used it for month in free version and I have subscribed the Advanced version some days ago.

I have a very simple question that I'm not able to answer: is it possible to create a new function by scratch?

Of course... that's why its so wonderful.

There are  several examples of code people have written or troubleshooted on this very forum..

 

You will need to get a bit of learning about Groovy under your belt, even if you have Java skills, but pretty much anything you can find a library for is now open to you.

 

Create a new record in the sample file. Enter some code. Run it. Hopefully you get some kind of returned result, and you are off and running. 

With FMPA (the advanced version) you also have ability to create custom functions (see File > Custom Functions).
