Fine line around chart, bars, and columns

Featured Replies

There is a fine line around bar and column charts and the bars and columns as well.  Is there some way to make that go away?  I found an attribute in the inspector panel that made the line around the whole chart go away, but there is still this other line around each bar, column and inside the X and Y axis.

I've looked at the theme css and xml but nothing I manipulate there makes a difference.

I have attached an image file that highlights this.  You may have to zoom in to see it. (see the 1 pt line around the bar and chart)

I don't graph, as I have an older version, but since no one has come up with a reply yet, how about this: assuming FMP does not provide a way to completely remove the border, can you color the border to be the same color as the background? Or can you mask the border with a line (or hollow rectangle) in the same color as the background?

Excellent response - I wondered the same thing.  I tried various background to see if I could blend it in, but whatever is creating that border is background aware and adjusts accordingly.  I also tried what you suggested and increased object sizes by a point or made them smaller by a point or two with a mask.  No joy.

Thank you for taking a moment to consider this issue!

Have you looked at the Inspector? I think there's something in there.... like how you change row colours in the Portals, isn't in Portal setup, it's in the Inspector.
