Can a Portal be filtered by a Date range?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I'm trying to find a way to filter a portal by a date range without much success.

I realise this can be done using a relationship where the key field is dynamically updated but I'd prefer to use portal filtering (if possible)

Here's what I've tried:

Vend_Sales_Lines_api::Date = ( ProductSalesReportLines::StartDate & "..." & ProductSalesReportLines::EndDate )

(didn't work)

Tried a calculated field that contained the date range also:

Vend_Sales_Lines_api::Date = ( ProductSalesReportLines::DateRange )

Still no luck.

Before I keep going I want to see if it's possible to filter by a date range or not.

Vend_Sales_Lines_api::Date = ( ProductSalesReportLines::StartDate & "..." & ProductSalesReportLines::EndDate )

The … range symbol is a Find operator - you cannot use it in a calculation formula:

Try instead:

ProductSalesReportLines::StartDate ≤ Vend_Sales_Lines_api::Date and Vend_Sales_Lines_api::Date ≤ ProductSalesReportLines::EndDate
