Do i need to use an entirely new method?

I need the changes also shown on the TO DO list, for example, If I set a show for the 25th, And it shows "tom" , but dick and harry, are also assigned on the calendar: I think some sort of looping function will do this, but i'm at a loss.

(The current hack involves using staff with repetitions on the field, but it's not propogating across other tables.

You will need to create a Staff line items table... the allow multiple staff to be attached to Projects.   Just like mile stones, or any other line items.  Then the Staff line items can "lookup" data from staff... and be dedicated to the specific project it is attached to.

Yes, that is how I managed to fix this issue, and have begun implementing it in other areas.
