dpccgf Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 Is there a way to open files automatically when a PC is rebooted? I know I can start filemaker pro using the startup command, but this is for the web using Filemaker Pro Unlimited. Need to have it startup and open five databases. Thanks!
Will Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 As long as the files are not password protected try putting shortcuts to the 5 files in the startup folder - you should not need a shortcut for the FileMaker application itself.
Vaughan Posted May 7, 2002 Posted May 7, 2002 Create an opener database -- a database with a startup script that opens the required databases then closes itself. Put this opener database (or a shortcut) into the startup folder.
