Layout A (window A) has an input field that is validated on entry only

Layout B (window B has related fields form the table in Layout A

 

In my script I have a step that closes Window A

However, I get a validation error dialog box when it gets to this step. Even if I take focus off by adding a select Window B, I get the same error

If I do not close the window, I do not get the error. I tried ading Commit Records/Request before the close step - still get the error.

 

Any general ideas, or do you need more specific information

Could you tell us the tables upon which the layouts are based and their relationship to each other? Also, what field is validated and for what?

Do you really name your Layouts A and B? Layouts and Tables can be different too.

 

Please do not use generic names for layouts, fields, relationships, scripts, etc., using actual names help us to understand your file structure better, which in turns can assist us in giving you a more accurate answer.
