BE Plugin - FTP -> Creating remote folder

Featured Replies

I have been using FTPit Pro for FTP in a couple of solutions. However, due to the fact that it is not updated to 64bit and a wish to consolidate the number of plugins used, I would like to use BE plugin for FTP as well, since we use this plugin for other purposes.

There is a function to upload files to a FTP server, but I have trouble finding a way to create remote folders. (as well as downloading, though I might have alternative ways to do that)

Does anyone have a way to create remote folders with BE plugin on FTP server ?

I was under the impression ( because I had done this in the past ) that if you passed the FTP path it would create the folders. It's been a really long time, and I can't remember if I actually got it to work with the BE plugin...or another way. At one point I was just using cmd line commands to create them.

Though, I'm guessing, the issues at this point then is logging into the FTP to allow the creation.

Hi Josh

Thanks for repying.

I just discovered that you can set a wide range of curl options. One is; CURLOPT_FTP_CREATE_MISSING_DIRS

This will allow for creating missing dirs = Create remote folder...

Nice. Are you running the curl through BE? Or separately through the OS?

BE... that means, functions in BE, such as the FTP function is using curl.
