insert a graphic (.gif image) into a calculation field?

Is it possible to insert a graphic (.gif image) into a calculation field?

I have created a calculation (below) that generates an email. I would like to add a graph that is currently a .gif file in the area of the email below (see " & Mobile Search Graphic & " below).

Is this possible and any education on how this could be done would be most helpful. I am an FM newbie!

Hi John,

FileMaker, by itself, is not super friendly when you want to insert images into emails. That would require you to be able to send an HTML email. Out of the box, FileMaker does TEXT Emails with one attachment - I believe.

There are plug-ins (for purchase) that allow HTML Emails to be generated, but for stuff like this, I favor pushing html code and parameters via the httppost function to a secure PHP page on the cloud and let the PHP handle the mail. In this way, once your data is pushed, you have all the power and features of the web at your disposal.
