Connecting to FTP returns this error after some delay.

Running Mac Mini 2014, FM 13 Advanced.

Help?

I believe this issue is being solved through our support system but I want to post that this error is usually solved by upping the amount of memory. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Looked at the instructions.  Can find no such location "Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/360FmKit/" in Sierra to place memory file.

HI starion,

If that location does not exist, then create it and place the file there.

This error was encountered by us when the file on the SFTP server was over 17MB in size. We did implement the stated "fix" above to create a "memory size" file inside a "360FmKit" directory using Terminal, but it did not resolve the issue for us.

Does anyone know how we can resolve this for files of this larger size?

Hi Mr.Scott,

What did you increase the memory to? If you have increased it to 1024 and are still having an issue then I would like to take a look at your logs. Please reproduce the issue and send the logs as well as a description of the issue to [email protected] .  This will create a support ticket for you in our support system. Make sure to send the logs before any restarts of FileMaker as restarting will overwrite the logs.
