Hi,

Not sure, I looked for a title that specifically said "Custom Menus" and I thought there was was one.

Anyway, I have client that we've set up a "Custom Menu Set" please see attached pics and they want to format fields.

Baring giving them administrative access, how can I provide this.

Every attempt I know of to turn on the "Formatting Bar" has proven to be uneventful.

I can show the "Formatting Bar" but it is grayed out ... Why??

The only way we get the formatting bar available is if we log in with "Full Access".  And that is not going to happen "EVER".

So how do you do it.  Where's the secrete decoder ring?

Thank you.

Tom

You control the Formatting Toolbar using a script.

you should have a script that is called when the first window opens.

Based on the Current users privilege set call Allow Formatting Bar either ON or OFF

Hope this helps.

Jerry,

I've turn on the formatting bar via my scrips and it doesn't do anything.  The formatting bar is present as I stated however the formatting bar is "Grayed Out" until we Login with "Full Access".

So I need to know wha I'm doing wrong.  Every attempt I've made to figure out what I may be doing wrong signed in as a user has not been successful.  The formatting bar is visible but remains grayed out !  ???

Any other suggestion I would be grateful.

Thank you.

Tom :-)
