August 24, 201510 yr I purchased the filemaker server license with 1 allowed remote connection. Sometimes filemaker server will allow me to connect, other times it won't (with the same wifi). I'm not sure if this is an issue with my connection or if because someone else is logged on remotely at the same time this is blocking the server from being available. I would think if this is the case (since I only paid for 1 remote license at a time) an error message would come up with (maximum connections) or something to that extent rather than the server not being available. Any thoughts on this? Matt
August 24, 201510 yr The one concurrent connection refers to WebDirect and iOS devices, not to FIleMaker Pro connections. Check firewall for Port 5003. Steven
August 25, 201510 yr When asking for help on this, it is very helpful if you write the exact error message. That will tell us, whether it is the server, who refuses connection due to connections limitations/license or if there is no route from your client to the server.
