Is it possible to place a chart inside a portal?

I have a very simple bar chart that I am wanting to repeat for each of several records in a portal. Is this possible?

It seems like I can only create a chart in the context of the layout not within a portal.

You cannot place a chart in a portal. However, you can place a chart in a popover within a portal.

There are other ways to show a simple bar - for example, a calculated text field, or a conditionally-formatted repeating field.
