Partial string find in a constrain script

Featured Replies

Hi Im trying to contain a found set using part of the string and am not having success using the wild characters. For instance the search result is scholofvet and I wish to constrain my search to vet. My pseudo script is as follows.

Custom dialog setting the input (search) text to a global

Set Variable  to the global

Constrain found set of the search field using the variable.

Ive tried both adding the "*" during the set Variable e.g. "*"&global

and as using it as an operator before the variable in the Constrain find function. Any help appreciated.

My pseudo script is as follows.

Why don't you post the exact printout, so we don't have to guess. Also see if searching for *vet manually finds anything.
