Filemaker Server 14

Is Supercontainer working with Filemaker Server 14?

I tried to install supercontainer on Mac OS 10.10.5 and after no succes on Mac OS 10.9.5 but also no succes.

The version i try to install is Super Container 2.9

When installing it 'stops' with installing 360Works Tomcat daemon and in the console we see every 30 seconds a crash report for httpd

Is there a documented  solution for installing Supercontainer with Filemaker server 14?

Hi Nico,

SuperContainer is compatible with FMS 14 on OS 10.10.5 . Make sure that the version that you are trying to install is a fresh download from our website because there was one point where 2.9 shipped with an installer that had issues running.

Also, the system that you are installing on needs to have internet access so that it can download TomCat. To workaround this or just the TomCat step in the installer, you can download the latest TomCat 7 from here http://tomcat.apache.org/download-70.cgi and then extract the zip into the "360Works" folder in Mac HD/Library/360Works. If the "360Works" folder does not exist yet then just create it. Once you have the TomCat folder inside the "360Works" folder then run the installer again and it should skip the downloading process and continue.

Alternatively you can run the SuperContainer in standalone mode by running the SuperContainerServer.jar file . All you need to do is run the .jar file and SuperContainer is up and running.
