dear fmforums,

when taking pictures with an ipod and saving them to our database we sometimes have the problem that some images are taken in portrait and some in landscape mode.

is it possible to lock the photo settings so all images are taken in landscape mode?

You can't prevent a photo from being taken in portrait orientation; but you may be able to use the GetContainerAttribute function to determine that an inserted photo is in portrait orientation (by comparing height to width), reject the photo, and prompt the user to re-take the photo in the correct orientation.
