Hi all,

Is there a need to periodically restart or otherwise maintain the FMS 5.0 ?? I haven't restatrted mine in a while, it it's doing fine, but I'm wondering if I need to do so.

I last left mine running for over 6 months without restart. Also heard of others running much longer.

Yeah...

I'm basically concerned about the memory leaks, and the build-up of "stuff". Don't know how NT workstation is dealing with services, maybe very different from MAC OS.

I could write a batch to restart once a week, but donno if that's necessary.

NT is the best from Microsoft kitchen.

During 4 years with FM3 and FM5 servers we have only single small problem.
