I would like to keep the calendar record in FMP but not have it publish. Is there a way?

that seems to be an event field, I am looking to disable the calendar itself

Aside from deleting it or moving it to a different table no. One thought is you could set a filter key that will never be hit (the filter key needs to be a valid field but the filtervalue could be set to something that won't be hit). That way no events can be synced.s
