john renfrew Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Let's start with lots of applause for Dave and Todd for bringing this to market. This is a great tool which opens all kinds of doors for looking more intently with facts at the files we create to highlight improvements we could make and where we can become significantly more internally consistent. It's clever, fast and is going to become one of those 'must have' tools for devs who are serious about getting in and fixing stuff. I think it feels like a highly developed Swiss Army knife, utilitarian but everything in it is well executed and simply presented. Have been a fan of FM-Xray specs for some while so this seems like a logical place to go next, and as someone who belives XML is not going away any time soon there are any numbers of possibilites to extend data about our own data.. Top marks both. 1
Ocean West Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Well said John, the audience at dotFMP Berlin were inspired by the power of FMPerception. The little Applescript you built was also mentioned, which lead to a tangent on automation of DDR creation.
