Ocean West
The attached demonstration is for browser solutions. If you are not developing browser solutions this will have little value for you. You need to treat this as you would any browser development. Set Web Security for all users and allow browse. This demonstrates one way to utilize the data from a summary field in a cdml solution. No JavaScript, just cdml/html. There is not a lot of explanation with this. But it is rather simple and straight-forward. It is also very open so you can run it, take it apart, and otherwise play with it. Enjoy. This Attachment is in .sit (Stuffit). SIMPLIFY ... Keith M. Davie
Since this Sample File includes a calculation field to format a number, it should be noted that another solution exists, essentially [fmp-field: fieldname, format]. For a larger discussion of this formatting, please refer to the thread, "Formatting Numbers": http://www.fmforums.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB22&Number=22098&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=
