I have FM12Pro adv and FMServe 12 pro. and Win7. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Trying to perform a CASE and REPLACE but not working so good. I have a Script,which should replace (number) Field "FrUSA" in Database " Allfreights" linking "Shport'fields" both sides. ============= Case( T01_ACCOUNTS::Shport="Houston";"800"; T01_ACCOUNTS::Shport="New York";"1200"; ) ============= (this is just an short example of Shipping ports,total file upto 600+ destinations in same script.) If I make a Trial Script with only one line : T01_ACCOUNTS::Shport="Houston";"800"; then all other destination are set to blank,empty. If I run the total scrips (600+) then only a part of it is updated/replaced, but about half of its fields FrUSA are set to zero (0) Where is the error ?? Thanks for helping me out. Willlaim

I am new to FM 12 Server Pro and FM 12 Pro Adv, working with Windows7 I have installed on Notebook the FMServer and FM pro adv.working fine. I need the Server installed on Notebook to have ODBC for Creports access (without FM server not possible to access Crystal Reports. I have also FM 12 Server pro and FM 12 pro Adv installed on Network Desktop Computer with the same FM file to work with. When I start I do... remote,I see both Desktop 192.168.1.7 and Notebook 192.168.1.6 .....I click when working the FM file I need... and that works OK. If I try to login with remote and click (Desktop computer) 192.168.1.7. is takes some time and then popup not available, (same directories as notebook.). If I do "" Remote Desktop Access"" via Windows mtsc32.exe ,so controlling the desktop screen from Notebook, and login with remote/Desktop 192.168.1.7 then I can work with the FM file on the Desktop. Also sitting behind Desktop I can approach the file I work on . I like to manage the Desktop as central database from my Notebook, but somewhere something is not set properly. Any idea ?? I need to update regularly my database COMPANIES field "Freight" with a certain value like: If [Companies::Shippingport ="Rotterdam"] Replace Field Contents [No Dialog;Companies::Freight;"1500"] End If If [Companies::Shippingport ="Houston"] Replace Field Contents [No Dialog;Companies::Freight;"1000"] End If etc etc with 200 Different Shippingport,Differents Freights. HOW TO DO THIS in a script ?? Thanks for the help. William
