  1. Nope, same thing happens. It's like the Sort command is not being actioned from the script. Regards, Brooke Kruger
  2. I'm using FileMaker Pro 5.5 and all I want to do is sort my found records. Very simple script but it won't work. Here it is: Show All Records Enter Find Mode [Restore, Pause] Sort[Restore, No dialog] The found records end up unsorted. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Brooke Kruger
  3. I have developed my screens using FileMaker Pro 5.5 and am running FileMaker Server 5 on a Windows 2000 server. When I run any of my screens from the server via the Hosts button anything to do with record manipulation is ghosted, not available. When I run these same screens from my development computer all is well. I have no passwords set. I have tried adding passwords, such as restricting design layouts and scripting which works. But still no access to record manipulation. I have now removed those test passwords and have priviledges set to Access Entire File. I have given the users on the network Administrator access, still no good. I also verified that all files were setup as Multi-User. What am I missing here... Best regards, Brooke Kruger
  4. Ahhh, now I see. Thanks for your help... Regards, Brooke
  5. Thanks for your help, but apparently I am missing something. I had already tried that assuming that once a sub set of data was returned the next find would use that set of data. Upon further reading I find out that each find uses the complete set of data. Is this a version issue? I'm using version 5. Thanks, Brooke
  6. I need to do a find using an "And" "Or" condition. I have five fields. This criteria needs to be met for the record to be accepted into the Find results: Field1 > 0 "AND" Field2 > 0 "OR" Field3 > 0 "OR" Field4 > 0 "OR" Field5 > 0 How do I accomplish this please. Regards, Brooke
  7. I have setup a Windows 2000 Server and installed FMServer 5. I have a Linksys Wireless-B access point hanging off the W2k server and two Windows Desktop PC's with Linksys Wireless-B USB Network Adapters. The desktops and the W2k server see each other. I can ping and share files/printers. I have FileMaker Pro 5.5 installed on the desktops. When I try to access the server files by clicking Host the files don't apprear. I have tried entering the IP address of the server but get the same results. Both the desktop computers have NIC's. The onboard NIC's are attached to a Netopia DSL modem for Internet access. I have the Internet connection and the wireless connection on different IP networks. DSL = 192.168.1.xxx Wireless = 192.168.2.xxx Could this be the problem with FileMaker client seeing the hosted databases? Brooke Version: Server v5 Platform: Windows XP
  8. I am having a problem with the simplest of scripts. I have defined a screen just containing buttons which call other screens. I want to set the zoom level and lock it. Of the 8 buttons only one works. They all call the correct screens, but only one sets the correct zoom level. Open["States.fp5"] SetZoom Level[200%, Lock] I'm using version 5.0v3 What am I missing here. Best regards, Brooke Kruger
  9. I am trying to print directly to the Adobe Acrobat PDFWriter to create PDF files. Occasionaly this will work but what usually happens is that FileMaker crashes. When I look at the details of the crash it tells me that FMTOOLS.dll is the program having the problem. Has anyone else encountered this? If so were you have to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.
