  1. I can only think of two ways to stop the default from going to that - one is to go into the Finder and set your page setup to default after selecting something other than, hold the option key down and hit "OK". It should ask if you want to save that as a default setup - you just have to do it to every mac. Other than that, maybe try to set, in Filemaker, your page setup to not print to that size in your scripts. I hope this helps.
  2. Oops, forgot to mention - also take a look at "Calculating time" in this category for times that go through midnight
  3. First of all, make sure that time in and time out are in the time format when you define the fields. When you define the total time field, make that a calculation, "time out - time in" and have the result as time, this should give you the difference in amount of hours and minutes. (When you enter time, make sure you put the time and AM or PM) Also, if you want to have the time in seconds, just have the result format of total time to be number. 4. I agree, check to see if the firewall/proxy is blocking access to port 5003.
  5. I have a Filemaker Pro Server behind a firewall/proxy server. Our company does not want to serve filemaker through port 5003. Is there a way to change that port number and to have the clients access the appropriate port number? Thanks
  6. Thanks, that was helpful.
  7. When a user cuts text from their web browser and pastes that information into the database, the font style, type, etc follows it. I need to create a mailing list with this data and unfortunately the font settings stay with the pasted data. Is there a way in which I can force a field to a particular font type, style, etc?
