  1. In the abstract, 3 databases are involved. A has a one-to-many relationship to B. A has a one-to-many relationship to C. For a record in A I need to find all related records in B, and create a new record set in C, based on the content of B and other info. Approach must be Web compatible. How is this done? If they were merely tables in one DB, I could do it, but this is not an option. Ken FileMaker Version: Dev 7 Platform: Windows XP
  2. I'm struggling with a similar issue, which is that there seems to be no way to do a Perform Find in a script using the contents of some variable as the match field. Processing the string as you suggest, isn't going to do any good. How does one actually use the result in the Find request? Ken FileMaker Version: Dev 7 Platform: Windows XP
  3. I've seen this with FMP {not IWP], and my record lists aren't even long. Also, I have another problem where fields and even field descriptors in the first few records do not display sometimes. If I scroll a record forward, then back, it usually refreshes properly. At first, I thought it might be related to large screens (1200 x 1600), but I see it at 768 x124 as well. This is the 30-day version download. Ken FileMaker Version: 7 Platform: Windows 2000
  4. I'm puzzled. From FMP 7, I explicitly insert a Word document in a container [the document, not a reference], and it opens fine from IWP screen. But if file is pdf, Acrobat Reader launches after I say Open, then says "There was an error opening this document. File does not exist". ANyone know what's going on? 5. Problem: Instant Web Publishing Guide not in Demo version Call FileMaker Pre-Sales (# is on website) Tell them about it and they will Email. This is what I did. Ken FileMaker Version: 7 Platform: Windows XP
