I no longer see an option to select the font, or indent a paragraph (and, IIRC, a few more formatting options).

FWIW I don't see a problem.

You are showing me the font size - not the font (as in Courier, Helvetica, etc).

Right. Choice of font does not exist. Did it, at some point? I guess you're saying it did; but I don't recall.
