Featured Replies

I just downloaded the trial version, and the warning I get when trying to open is: This application requires OS 10.10

any thoughts?

TIA,

Larry

Thoughts. Maybe the message means exactly what it says.

This application requires OS 10.10.

BruceR, 'ya know, I had that same thought before I started this thread.................... However, I was hoping for a knowledgeable reply!

hi Larry,

Check the compatibility, http://docs.geistinteractive.com/category/58-fmperception

You are showing v11 as your FileMaker version? FMPerception is only compatible with 12 - 15. If you have upgraded to 12 - 15, you need to update your Profile for us so that we have the complete picture.

Check the compatibility of your OS 10... here http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/10012/~/system-requirements-for-filemaker-pro-12-and-filemaker-pro-12-advanced

and see if this might be involved.

Hi Lee, Just updated my profile here. I'm on OS 10.9.5 and using FMPA 14

The link I provided for FMPerception shows that the minimum for the Mac is OS 10.10. I don’t know, but I guess this has something to do with the external tools used such as, i.e. Java, jquery or something.

Hello, Larry,

Yes, FMPerception for macOS is currently limited to 10.10 and higher.  That's the oldest OS for which we've performed the appropriate due diligence to be able to confidently state that FMPerception can happily handle that version.

I don't anticipate future support for an older OS.

My apologies for providing exactly the response you were hoping not to hear, but it's the best I've got right now.

Thanks Lee and Dave. OK, I'll wait until I'm home from vacation. Replies are much appreciated.
