We are going to be converting from FMP Server 4 to FMP Server 5.5 here soon. Is there any things that we should be anticipating going wrong? What have been your experiences with converting to Server 5.5? We are hoping everything will go smoothly.

You will need to upgrade ALL clients to Filemaker Pro 5 as well, but I found the upgrade to be painless and trouble-free.

Be warned. the scheduler in FileMaker Server 5.5 does not work when running in OS X. To do backups you will have to create a shell script to pause the server and copy the database files.

We will be running it on a Win 2000 server so that won't be an issue. I didn't think that there would be many issues but just wanted to see if you guys ran into anything while doing it. Thanks for the input!
