ChangeAgent Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 (edited) I am using the version 15 of FMP and am looking for an alternative. Reason being that in the past I had many complex DB’ but since I sold the business there are only a few private DB’ left that are rather simple. IOW FMP is far to sophisticated for what I need. On top of that I have the rather high cost of the yearly licensing and again what I need does not justify a brilliant application like FMP. So what I am looking for is a simple DB, one where I can preferably import the FMP DB seamlessly. Any tips or suggestions? PS I am using a Mac version and need a Mac platform Application. ggt667 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 How many machines? Why not just keep using FileMaker 15 on 1 machine if you are only 1 person?

The runtime will be single user only and may lack some newer FileMaker functions, but the data import will be easy. Edited January 28, 2019 by robear
