I have no idea what's causing this, but is there a way I can get around this and open the file so I can see what's going on? The problem may be in the Startup script. Steve Martino Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Can you just open FileMaker, no database from the application folder? Then open the script debugger, then open your file. Lee Smith Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Hi John, Steve has provided a method to get to the file using the Debugger. IIUC, do you get the Login Dialog when opening the file?If not, hold down the Shift Key when opening the file and you should get the User ID and Password Dialog. Enter your information, if no luck, then try User ID: Admin and Password: Admin. BYW, new files will default to the Password of admin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
