A thread I participated in has disappeared completely, apparently as a result of moderator action. I appreciate the moderators here volunteer more than the rest of us and I am reluctant to criticize, but this seems a bit too drastic. Surely deleting the redundant offensive posts at the thread's trail would have been sufficient, and keeping the question along with the pertinent answers beneficial? I am not even sure the OP had an opportunity to read those answers.
