Hi,

I have a single row portal which has 3 fields in read mode. I am trying to change the font color of the 3 fields on hover and this should happen all together and not for individual fields.
I have read somewhere in the forum that hover works only for fields in browse mode unless a script is attached to it.
This also works but again for individual fields.
I tried to group all 3 fields and add a dummy script too but again hover shows effect only for individual fields.

Is there any way where I can change style for all 3 fields together on hover?

Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Tamanna.

Hi Tamanna, welcome to FMForums!  :)

You haven't indicated your FM version or OS.  Please complete your profile since it can make a difference in what we recommend.

Please see attached (you must be signed in to download it).

You can select your portal (in layout mode).  From Inspector, select the third tab (styles).  Pop open popover of portal to show portal row. Pop open the next popup and change to 'hover' and change the fill to yellow or your color choice.

I realize this isn't changing the FONT but won't this work instead?

Hi LaRetta,

Thanks for your prompt reply.
As suggested I have completed the profile. I am using FM Version 16.

I will check on the suggestion given by you but I was looking for a possibility to also change the text color on hover for all the fields together in the portal row.:)

Thanks...

Hi Tamanna,

What benefit would a feature like this provides you?

Perhaps if you provided us with more detail on what you want it for, we can suggest some alternatives that will work for you.
