I am very new to using FMP over the internet. I would like to set up a database with several hundred people having access (to alter their own details) using passwords, etc. I had intended to use IWP (because this is so easy to set up?), but I get the impression that I should be looking at CWP. Is this correct?

If you want to have more control over the appearance and functionality of your solution then go for CWP, If you are looking for something quick to setup and don't want to learn HTML, CDML and JavaScript then IWP is best. The choice is yours, and the great thing is you can always change your mind if things don't work out.

Thanks for this - it is pretty much as I had expected. However my concern is more to do with setting up appropriate password protection, etc. Is my understanding right that I can't use the Web Security database with IWP? With IWP, if the way to limit access is by using "Acess Privileges", is this is going to become unmangable because I want to allow several hundred people to access their own record or a group of records they are looking after?
