Newbies cday2003 Posted October 1, 2018 Newbies Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) When click "Authenticate to Outlook" I get a pop up but the profile just says Outlook no other options I click OK and I get: Outlook logon failed Error:8000FFFF ERROR:8000FFFF UNKNOWN MAPI ERROR Running Windows 10 Pro, Outlook 2016 32 bit, FileMaker 17 32 bit Edited October 1, 2018 by cday2003
PCIPal Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Hi cday2003, This kind of error might come up if there is an issue with the Outlook configuration on the machine. Are you able to test the connection from another machine with a similar Outlook account setup (You can use the Demo license on that machine for the test)? Also, can you confirm that the data file for the Outlook account is properly configured? You might be able to connect successfully if you remove and recreate the account in the Mail account setup in Outlook or the Windows Control Panel. Thanks! - CT
