nightdesigns Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 Trying to find out a way to check to see if a file is open. Thanks.
kwatson Posted July 16, 2002 Posted July 16, 2002 I'm interest in knowing if there is a way in a script to check to see if a file of another format (pdf) exists. If it exists, it can be opened by using the Open URL script step.
SteveB Posted July 16, 2002 Posted July 16, 2002 I think you need a plugin like Troi File. www.Troi.com
stuj1026 Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 Yes there is... Use troi file plugin.. After you have written the PDF file to your drive use the function troi-file filesize to check the size of the pdf file written to disk.. If the file does not exists the function will return a error code otherwise it will return the size of the file.. Troi plug in has alot of other features.. It's a great plugin.. Check it out at http://www.troi.com
