stefanchauveau Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Has anyone created or seen a much more simple 360works CloudMail template which works really like an email client where you fill in the email address, subject, body and then optionally add an attachment ALL created and stored in FileMaker. The results are then shown in tabbed portals below (view, clicks, bounces, complaints etc.) So one email and one set of results. No Campaigns.
ryan360Works Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Just from what I have seen from support, a lot of users just use the CloudMail.fmp12 file or they copy/paste the scripts into their own solution and then modify the field references. With that being said, we do have an EmailClient.fmp12 as an example file for the Email plugin that may be close to what you are looking for. You can probably modify that to work for CloudMail but at that point it might be easier to just start from scratch. 1
stefanchauveau Posted April 12, 2019 Author Posted April 12, 2019 The CloudMail.fmp12 template uses Campaign as a main table but I am not sending more than one (1) email at a time BUT they are important emails and so tracking (this is a very powerful feature of CloudMail.fmp12) each and every emails Deliveries, Bounces, Complaints, Unsubscribes, Views and Clicks is really important. The relationship graph would be ONE contact record, with MANY email records and each one of these email records would have MANY Deliveries, Bounces, Complaints, Unsubscribes, Views and Clicks records. Does this make sense and would the plugin provide for this?
Terrible Toll Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 You can simply set it up to use just the one campaign. I use the campaigns as email templates - they can be updated any time anyone wants to send a new batch. The results section then has to be able to be filterable by batch, so that you can choose which mailing you want to see the results for, even though they all came from the same 'campaign'.
