Conditional Formatting based on where an item is in a portal

Hi All,

Is it possible to create a conditional format condition based on the portal row number?

In essence I would like to use the strikeout format for any portal row that is over 100.

Thanks in advance.

Not directly, but still possible. You need to define an unstored calculation field (result is Number) in the chid table =

Get ( RecordNumber )

Then use this field in the conditional formatting's formula.

More than 100 rows in a portal?? Is that manageable by the users?

...some UX alerts are definately blinking here! Albert Harum Alvares would say ...where is the "head" or "face" of the displayed. I would say that compared to spreadsheets has Filemaker an upper hand away from purely eyeballing certain patterns of significance...

Thanks Comment,

Exactly what I needed.

It is used for a static display so users can see where they sit on the leaderboard, so they don't actually use the portal itself. (see below)
