Good day everyone,

Can someone please guide me? I have a script that sets a field value with the current time and date (separate fields). It works fine when I connect to the database using FileMaker Pro, but if the user connects using a browser, the time is 12:00 AM, not the computer time or the server time.

I think i can use the host time command, but that will give me a timestamp (data and time).

Thanks

Rudy

I don't know why Get ( CurrentTime ) should not work in WebDirect, but if you want the host's date and time you can do:

Set Variable [ $ts; Value:Get( CurrentHostTimestamp ) ]
Set Field [ YourTable::Datefield; GetAsDate ( $ts ) ]
Set Field [ YourTable::Timefield; GetAsTime ( $ts ) ]

Strange indeed, I even tried using "Insert time," and it did not work.

Thanks, Comment, it works using your steps.

Thanks
