FileMaker Pro 5.5 Unlimited Now Available from FileMaker, Inc.

Latest version delivers "industrial-strength" Web database publishing;

improved Instant Web Publishing Fidelity; Web development tools; and

support for the new Mac OS X Server and Red Hat Linux 7.1

SANTA CLARA, CA

That is nice, but:

FileMaker Web Server Connector

Software Requirements

Windows 2000 Server and IIS 5.0

Mac OS X Server 10.0.4 and Apache Web Server 1.3.19

Red Hat Linux 7.1 and Apache Web Server 1.3.19

Where is NT4 server??? The Windows 2000 Server cannot be used for serious business, it collapses very often.

If FileMaker Web Server Connector cannot run on NT4 IIS 4, then this product is for nothing.

Yeah I thought it was kind of rough that OS X Support only "seems" to be for OS X Server ($999) and not regualr OS X.

Although I'm sure It'll work with a little (cough) tweaking...

For now I'm sticking with WCS 5.0 on my OS X Server 1.2 box...

Stable as a rock...

And I'm guessing The old WSC should have no problem shaking hands with a new copy of FMP Unlim 5.5

In the release note FM Inc. mention vast improvements in WSC. It will be pity to run old one with U5.5

But I've just got e-mail confirmation that it will run on NT4 IIS4 laugh.gif" border="0
