multipage pdf in container fields

I am inserting pdf 's as references into container fields and wonder, how can I view pages 2+ of a multipage pdf in this setup?

You can't. A container holds one image. If you want to view page 2, you'll need to put it into another container.

If you're a mac user, you could open the PDF in Acrobat using applescript.

You can if you use "Insert Quicktime" instead of "Insert Picture". You can't store your pdf as a reference only though.

I thought inserting pdf in a container wasn't possible. How do you do that ? I've tried but i could only import jpegs, picts, mpegs...

(Should I have opened a new thread for this question? in that case, please excuse...)
