Pictures imported on Win doen

Hi,

I have to import data from a filemaker 5 db in my filemaker 5 db. The problem is, that some pictures are imported on Win, and on mac I only get: "Windows OLE-Object" instead of the picture.

I need quick help.

Thanks in advance,

Roland

Under the Document Preferences, make sure that "Store compatible graphics" is checked before you import or paste any images into the file or onto a layout. If you've already pasted/imported images, delete them then re-import or re-paste them. They should then be viewable on both platforms.

There is probably some OLE object inserted and not the picture itself.

When inserting a picture in a container field one of two things must be true for it to be seen on all machines. 1) The picture itself (not a reference) must be inserted into the container or 2) if a reference is used, the actual picture must be stored on a network volume available to all the machines on the network.
