Does anyone know of a plugin that will let you insert data into a PDF with embedded fields that works on a MAC? I have looked at PDF Manipulator by Productive Computing and it works great but it is only Win compatible.

It is so easy to generate a whole new PDF document, why bother with embedded fields?

I have a set of 7 pdf files that have already been Certified for printing all I need to do is add some specific customer info and send them to press?

At the last developer conference there was some discusion about using PDF forms. I believe you can use an XML export to populate the PDF form. I think there is some sort on intermediate step involving xFDF, but I am not clear on the details. Sorry I can't be of more help. Productive Computing Inc. has a plugin that allows you to populate and retrieve info from pdf forms.
