Hi! I have a database that uses web companion, when ever someone is using the browser view and clicks to see the next record the PC that is hosting the Database changes record as well.

This is correct. You have to remember that both the web access and direct access on this machine look like the same user. A web user is NOT like a separate guest on the network connecting with the PC as the host. That is why the preferred architecture is to use FM Server on a separate machine and dedicate one machine connected as a client to the server as the "Web" machine. No one would work in front of this "web" machine.
