I was wondering if someone can help with me. I have database which list Business Referral. i create a portal where people can put first name, last name of referrals which is a link to another database call Referrals. i want the data entry to happen Business Referral and be display at Referral database.

I dont know if my relationship is not working, i am doing the relation base on Company Id for the Business Referral database and Referral_id for Referrals

First -- what are you saying???

When you enter info in a portal, it's actually being entered in the related file only. You need a portal to see it in the main file.

In your case, if I understand at all, the Referral_ID in the related file will show the same data as the related Company_ID field in the main file. Other than that, I have no clue.

Not very clear....Just in case you were trying to create related records from referral to business referral. Set your relationship to "Allow creation of related records".

Well, what i am trying to do is have portal in the main database which will the parent with a portal where the data will be enter and than display at the child, this are two seperate databases. Yes, this are related records.
