Runtime Error

Featured Replies

Ok, Ok. I know that Instant Web Publishing sucks, and I should be using CWP. BUT, I am using it because it was quick to set up. Here's what happened:

I had a layout called DataEntry that was used for various views. I use a tabbed interface. One tab takes you to the layout for entering/editing records. I created a new layout that was similar so that I could have the tab order right when viewed through a browser. Then I deleted the old DataEntry and renamed the new layout DataEntry. Then I had to change some of the buttons to recognize the new layout.

I thought I was cool, then I went to the browser, and when I try to click on the button to take me to this layout, it gives me this:

A runtime error has occurred. Line 1: syntax error

Do you wish to debug?

If I click yes, MS Debugger opens, but there is no project area or anything to see.

When I log on with the master password, it works fine. But I get the runtime error when I log on with a password that has limited access. Also, I open the FM files using the master password. But when the runtime error occurs in the browser, it changes the access privledges in the actual file to those of the user with limited access. It never used to do this before I changed the stupid layout.

Dang, it seems that every problem I have takes a long explanation, but I want to be clear. Sorry. If you can help, please do. If you need more info, let me know.
