Here is something that has been bothing my ignorant mind: When I create a summary report sorted by Item_ID in the LINEITEM file I get the desired "looped" output for that record. ALL is great... item_id:1001 .......john .......jack .......smith now if I go to ITEMS file (that is related to LINEITEM) and attepmt to run the same report the records do not "loop" and only one record s shown item_id:1001 .......john Basically I want to run the summary from the ITEMS "prespective" so that user does not need to see the other files. Would this be the case of portal need or am I just not designing the layout right? thanx you all for the help and comments! all the best
